Journalist tries to expose businessman for shamelessly making money while fine with shamelessly promoting his book to make money on a website that shamelessly promotes ads as news among other gross monetization practices to make money.

Took me a few minutes to figure out what “lane based” refers to. Dragon’s Crown isn’t lane based - you can walk wherever. It’s got decent flexibility too. I finished the main story and set it down when I realized I’d have to learn advanced techniques with my chosen character (the Elf) to keep up in co-op play.

Furries can be and are at times super sensitive, due to drawing marginalized people who don’t always have the best social skills. The outbursts that come from being trolled are classic troll food and it’s been that way for ages now. Plus, it’s not as if furries are passive, as there’s been back and forth trolling

Oof. Don’t even get me started on Game Devs vs Gamers. That whole thing is a tempest of entitlement from top to bottom, with a publisher layer thrown in to distract everybody on both sides.

I find it troubling that we have countless shit-stirring trolls out of the grey and trolling freely, yet for some reason you catch a ban. It reminds me of how my comment about the Sega of now not comparing to the Sega of old when it came to game development getting dismissed by a guest writer. I was baffled as hell

Ah. Well welcome back. Given your commenting prowness, i’m sure that you’ll gain follow status from one of the other writers fairly quick.

Welcome back. Why are you in the greys? Did something happen?

Ha ha! I’m the opposite - a simple coder who dabbles in illustration.

I don’t even like the use of “sprite” for billboards, since the term predates 3D graphics.

I think you meant 3d Models. Sprite is a word that can only be used to describe 2d images in games. Specifically images that are always front facing. This technique is called Billboarding and though it is was used more extensively in older games, it is still being used throughout gaming to this day. Such as in Level

Lets correct some terminology. Not to be petty, but to help educate the general public!

I’ll have to give them a try - Honestly as a kid I was so into “MEGA MAN” that when Battle Network came out I was shit all pissed when I saw it wasn’t really the Mega Man I was expecting, never picked one of them up since that day. . Though I’ve been told a few times they are really good.

Did you even read the article where is said some of these run at SINGLE DIGIT FRAME RATES? Cell architecture is not some simple emulation task. I wish you guys that keep yelling about Sony doing this would actually do some technical research. Or, just buy a ps3.
