This is fine for a VERY basic screening (which most audiologists provide for free) but is in no way an accurate representation of a person’s full hearing ability. There is a reason hearing tests are completed in sound proof booths with calibrated earphones.

She probably had a full hearing evaluation and not a hearing screening which is what this is.

No calibration on the users end. I’m sure the tones are calibrated from the test side. It’s hard to say this is 100% accurate as everyones phone is different.

First, this is a hearing screening, not a full hearing test. It doesn’t measure speech understanding or how the eardrum is working.
