Hell yeah, ‘Murica.

Isn’t it crazy how scared they are of pretty much the entire modern world? They like to frame it as angry or indignant (if they knew what the word meant), but really they’re just scared little bitches lashing out at anything they don’t understand. It would be sad if it weren’t for the people in power encouraging them

lol people are so fucking stupid to think that A. they’re important enough to warrant drone surveillance, and B. that a small ass drone can carry anything in the way of advanced photography or surveillance equipment in the first place.

Every time I’ve ever been in a Buc-ee’s, its been absolutely packed with people...but I’ve never seen anything close to a line for the bathrooms.

This only makes sense if this person’s only experience with Buc-ee’s coincided with the buses of the Allen, Texas, high school marching band (700-1,000, depending on whether it’s their halftime or competition show) stopping at the same Buc-ee’s at the same time.

It was pretty clear from the contributions that the worst place to stop is anywhere in the south, period. Just stay away.

Oh, it’s not just tax dollars, the head of Buc-ee’s donates directly to Abbot and other Texas republicans.

Anyone stopping at a Buc-ees is padding the profits of a company willfully based in Texas which in turn pays to support a brutal sadistic fascist regime.

Can agree with one variation. We were driving across country with our dogs and ended up in Casper. Even the biggest city in Wyoming is a whole lot of nothing. But since the dogs had been cooped up all day the day before, we decided to go a dog park. That was the best dog park ever. HUGE, something like 50 Acres. It

Look, it was an intentionally silly comment. :) But a GMC Motorhome would be a commuter car you could cook dinner in. lol

Have you looked at housing costs in any major US city recently?

I get that part, but world power generation is still majority fossil fuels along with pretty much everything that gets things places like boats, trains, planes and personal vehicles. Ending fossil fuel usage in 6 years is just not possible.

This stunt is annoying and pointless, but the Stonehenge thing is completely and utterly counterproductive. Pisses off everyone and convinces no one.  Pure idiocy.

From an economic perspective, Taylor Swift is basically equivalent to a Fortune 500 CEO.

Taylor Swift sold ~$1 BILLION in concert tickets last year. On average, her time was worth $114k per HOUR.

I bet all of the logistics of tens of thousands of people attending her concerts and and thousands doing background work that goes into putting them on absolutely dwarfs her carbon footprint form flying in the plane.

While the intentions of the group were in the right place”

So they’re trying to stop oil by spraying what is presumed to be a petroleum derived product on something and that will require more petroleum derived products to clean up? 🤔

Those people are some of the most ineffective folks I’ve ever seen. Between the ones that threw paint on the artwork at the Louvre, and “Jennifer” and “Cole” (almost a ‘Kyle’...missed it by that much!) deciding to deface property “to highlight the need for an “emergency treaty to end fossil fuels by 2030.”, I have a

They said their actions were to highlight the need for an “emergency treaty to end fossil fuels by 2030.”
