I mean yeah, we should, but if we get rid of the people who elected those people, it kinda solves all the problems, right? If we don’t, they’ll keep putting the asshats doing the asshattery in power.

Accurately put, and much better than the article. There’s no indication yet that Starliner won’t be able to bring them home. The problem is that since Starliner keeps it propulsion in the expendable service module, they can’t study it after the mission. That’s a significant difference from Dragon, which retains all of…
Part of the delay comes from the fact that the issues are in the service module, which is always jettisoned and always burns up on reentry. So they can only study the problems by looking at instrument readings, and only while Starliner is still in orbit.
Congratulations to Boeing on achieving a truly special level of incompetence to make even SpaceX seem responsible and competent in comparison.
Fun story: Singapore is unique among former colonial states in how it gained it’s independence. Once the British relinquished it, it was part of Malaysia, which makes sense, if you look at a map. However, the people in Singapore were so impossible to deal with that Malaysia expelled Singapore from the country.
You can’t fix stupid, and this country has too much of it. I believe that ideally they should have every right to be on the road where legally allowed. But we don’t live in an ideal world, and if you value your life, you will not ride on roads where you can get hit by 4,000 pound objects with idiot controlling them.
I was about to point out #1.
Two things:
I would assume that 99% of bikini barista coffee shops justifiably have a hammer, pepper spray and/or a firearm within arm’s reach, because people can’t behave.
Since posting this four times isn’t enough, let’s have it again!
Hundred percent. It changes the equation very much. Especially because most people are unfamiliar with the concept and it explains the exorbitant cost of the coffee.

The fact that it’s a bikini/Hooters-style shop is KIND OF IMPORTANT TO THE STORY, WRITER. At least in helping readers realize that the customer is, you know...that guy.
Yes, but MAGA.
So why, precisely, do you think the people who build solar facilities are unaware of this?
They aren’t building them because Vegas built 3 about 10 years ago and they were huge flops. They turned out to not produced half they power the clamed, cost way more to run that thought, actually used a huge amount of natural gas very inefficiently getting started in the morning, and just can’t compete with…
Yep add it to the other free government money they get for NOT farming.
Get ready for the rural maga rednecks to freak out as they see solar and wind as both cultural genocide and emasculating.
For me personally, it’s the Toyota Tacoma. But that’s only because my entire life, my dad always had a Toyota pickup truck. Always. He passed in 2019 and I got his 2013 Tacoma and I will have that truck until it disintegrates (or I do). I daily an EV6 GT. But I will run the Tacoma up to work once or twice a week…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. But cars like this Mirage have a place. Some people need transportation but can’t afford the more expensive options.
