I know in other sports, they do some things to help. For hockey, in the ECHL, you don’t get paid much as each team has a salary cap of around $12,000 a week, but they also provide room and board.

This may be a stupid question, but I’m not as familiar with British papers and I think even the legitimate ones can get a bit cheeky with their headlines. But is Metro a tabloid (not form factor) like the Enquirer, or satire? I’m just hoping this isn’t legit but it’s one of those that isn’t too far out of the realm of

Maybe if she used chalk or something, but she purposely used acrylic, a medium difficult to get off the rocks and did it in at least 6 National Parks.

Yeah, but how can it possibly be enforced unless she’s stupid enough to use the same tag or put it online? If I go to the Smokies, the Feds don’t know. Or do they, with a top secret NPS satellite?

In Ohio it’s actually a minor misdemeanor to not set the parking brake. Not that they actually enforce it on a general basis.

Both sources articles seem to be missing. I’m certainly not going to go on a fishing expedition for them.

That’s what I don’t get. It’s costs for the first 10 years of life, which for most Saturns is past.

We have a small business hardware store near me, I won’t go. I’m fine with prices being higher (to a certain point), but the guy that owns it is an asshole.

The first season of Top Gear with Clarkson, Hammond and Dawes wasn’t that great either.

And damn it, yes it’s OK to lose. Should we give everyone a participation medal? Not necessarily though in certain cases I have no issue with it. If you complete a marathon, you deserve to get something for it, even though you didn’t actually win. It’s a major achievement for many just to finish. You “lose” the

And a whole case of coconut water.

Driving on a country road, or one that has lots of twists and turns, sure that can be fun. Mundane Interstate driving, not so much.

“And a cucumber on the side.” Nope, that doesn’t work either.

When I look at that guy, all I see is a crazed John DeLancie.

I must have a really old account I don’t use anymore. I know I used Amazon before 2000, I still have the Christmas gifts they used to send out.

For me, that election was the best era of SNL ever.

Stockdale got a bad rap for that, like he actually didn’t know who he was or why he was there. Though it didn’t help that he was eventually diagnosed with Alzheimers. But I believe originally he wasn’t going to be the running mate, he was more of a placeholder.

The civil trial just had a lower burden of proof. I do wonder if he’ll get out of prison next year.

After the last incident, I think Keith Law will likely stay out of this one but he would be one to make counterpoints.

Not quite. There is Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation, yes. But there’s also a theory. The law tells us what happens, at least under specific parameters, but not why. Newton’s law is quite good, but there are also areas where it falls apart. Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity supercedes Newton’s law.
