If I had an i3, I’d hide it in the garage too. Fugly.

Nah. A real station wagon is MUCH bigger and more useful than this tall subcompact pig of a car.

This.

I love this comment and am totally over Damon, but I still condemn Streep. Not for allegedly knowing about Weinstein, but for her hypocrisy around other rapists (Polanski).

Meryl Streep doesn’t tacitly approve of rape of other celebrities, but when it’s a celebrity raping a poor, she gives it a standing ovation. Polanski is a repeat child rapist. Streep initiated a standing ovation for him at an event that he couldn’t attend as a result of him fleeing justice in relation to one of those

Or, you know, maybe he was joking, kinda like he obviously was. Maybe.

Wait! You’ve driven there? I’m very scared of you. Please don’t hurt me.

Doesn’t the front end of every rear- or all-wheel drive car lift up at least a little with any acceleration at all. Without some really fancy active suspension, I think that’s an inevitable consequence of torque. Even with FWD, the torque will push the rear down, lifting the front a bit.

The car has a control stick so you complaint is wrong about this particular feature, but I could not agree more in general and Apple has been a leader in getting this wrong for decades, but Tesla is also moving things in the wrong direction.

Jesus, people, even the crappy irresponsible article full of false information mentions that the wipers can also be cotrolled with a stick, just like every other car you’ve ever been inside of.

The idea that it is noble to die for a good cause has long standing and is not something evil. Was the guy who said “I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country” terrorist scum on your mind? A lot of people consider him a hero of the Revolutionary War.

Wallace did mention that replicants were great because big societal changes require disposable slave labor and many replicants were sex workers (with no choice but obey). Those might be reasons to support their rebellion, but the real reason you might support it would be having seen the original Blade Runner where it

There was nothing about his injuries that suggested death was inevitable, but he had clearly decided to sacrifice himself for the cause. And if that means he has to sit around on some steps and bleed out rather than asking the rebels of they have a medic, so be it. He died because he wanted to.

I was honestly surprised how little they did to bring Blade Runner newbies up to speed. See the original first. It is an incredible and influential movie that you should enjoy anyway. It also will really help you enjoy the new one.

Maybe if you’re landing a fighter for the air force. Not so much if you’re risking the lives of several hundred passengers.

If that was the best landing he could fly on that day at that airport, he should have landed somewhere else. One sudden change in heading in a strong crosswind is necessary fishtailing is just putting several hundred lives at risk because you don’t know how to land with a crosswind. Whichever pilot was flying needs

You mean what if he’s telling the truth? He’s not.

Every abusive misogynistic heterosexual man in history?

The biggest problems with this is that the technology this requires would make the tenders unnecessary and would make the ideas of “your” car and cars parked on busy streets totally obsolete.

More likely she was drunk and turned herself in after she sobered up.
