AND ALSO, this weird ass game Kung Fu: High Impact is kind of awesome. It's a kinect game that puts you (in your clothes, or naked, whatever) in the game, fighting characters on the screen by punching and kicking around the living room (and doing hadoukens and backflips, for real).

also, for a one player puzzler to play with a group or another person in the room, i'd nominate The Cave
