I’m just tired of all these heist movies stealing away so much creative energy and financing from other, more interesting movies. Think of how many more Spider-Man movies we could have had if everyone in Hollywood wasn’t so obsessed with this Oceans universe and all its pathetic knockoffs.

I don’t know, unless they want to share the context of those quotes they did seem to have plenty of people talking about how Hawkins thought the schedule was rough.  The story doesn’t hinge on just those two.

Netflix stuff gives me an uncanny AI-generated vibe now. There’s an intriguing marketable surface but a pervasive feeling of emptiness under it all. It’s like an unthinking mechanical approximation of media.

There are literally men in the comments here complaining that it’s unfair for their partners to ask them to go buy something if the store or the product is not one they’re familiar with. You would think the trope is tired but apparently some people are very willing to own up to it.

Again- when men face the threat of their rights being taken away due to traditional gender roles and jokes that enforce them, we can talk. Until then, you’re just comparing thin-skinned privileged apples to oppressed oranges.

Now we have a whole premise that men are toddlers because neither one of them did what was necessary to prevent an issue. 

I saw that the hashtag “NoJohnnyNoPirates” was trending after this news broke, and I think that’s the sort of future we can all get behind. No Johnny Depp, and No Pirates movies, thank you very much.

Does it? I’m pretty sure “being incapable of doing simple domestic tasks” is very much in line with “real man” behavior.
