I’ve never understood why F1 limits the V6's to 15,000 RPM’s. This is part of the reason they don’t sound as good as the V8's (which revved as high as 20,000). Another 5,000 RPM instantly makes any engine sound better & louder.

Ride quality, handling, latest creature comforts & gadgets not found in the comp (Tacoma), etc. Daily driver “car” stuff.

All of the sexy new Mazda products in this article were beaten in this race by a 1999 Miata.
