The way Hackman cuts up his words is amazing. He swallows some of them, and ends others rather abruptly, with a shifting cadence that keeps us on our feet.

They deserved it.

English Bob's intro on the train is so badass that it's shocking to later see him get brought down by Little Bill. In turn, this builds up Little Bill's badass cred, which IN TURN, even later, shows us just what sort of force of nature Munny is.

I agree that the offer of the glass of water to Eleanor was definitely something, but I'm also not quite sure what. Maybe it's meant to suggest that Sonia relates to her somehow. Or maybe, as you say, that Sonia has generally improved in terms of social skills (but why/how).

It's looking like "No," we'll know for sure in a bit.

It might cameo in future seasons, if its movie career doesn't take off.

It's also not Fort Fort Bliss Bliss, which is a pity.

Outlander recently showcased an excellent villain, if you haven't tried out that show.

It was certainly more "he wants to belong, be amongst people again."

The show has maybe been too canny about killing off only dead weight—but I can't really complain.

It's a different thing technically, but that quinceanera gave me a certain vibe, like "dictator goes into a family's home and forces the man to hand over his young daughter." I hope that doesn't happen.
