So the show established unambiguously that Irisa, effectively, has been possessed (or something similar) all this time. I enjoyed the finale very much, but as a general rule I am not too crazy about this decision. It makes it impossible for her to have had any characterization over the season.

This might be too obvious to mention, but the scene between Rafe and Pilar echoed the earlier one between Datak and Stahma at the prison. (Beyond the mere fact of the callback, I'm not sure if there's any deeper significance.)

Stahma, as usual, stole a good bit of the show. Datak, attempting a mocking tone, kept going on about how she thinks herself smarter than he is, and she's like "I am, though." HA!

Nolan had some good moments. Choosing not to fight fair against Pottinger; having no qualms about hitting a girl; withstanding the taser. I love to see him in Dad mode, being protective of his daughter. (But respectful enough of her as a person to allow her to kill herself if she so chooses.) And as the review

Those are good rules in general, for any TV show (or film series). Seeing the consequences play out is one of the most fun parts.

Yeah, this is definitely not a show that used the first handful of episodes to simply redo the pilot over and over, to quote-unquote make sure viewers were onboard.

Did Starbuck disappear?

Yeah, maybe watch 20 seconds on YouTube of the old show just so the old-model Centurions will resonate when we see them. No other viewing required. Starbuck used to be a boy.

Ah, so you have a thinnah wallet than you expected?

::standing ovation::

A Ziggy did it.

"With Gaius/Six at number two." Leoben?

… or candidate for collective noun. "A meritocracy of griefs." :)

"But don't worry, because there are plenty more coincidences to come!"

And what are Dee's dual(l)ities—I'll be in my bunk.

Literal-minded high-five! It's tough out there for our sort.

Upvoted and FLAGGED! :)

And if you're Lee, you just keep your eyes OFF the bagels…

It wore a single blue contact lens, the better to resemble his son's johnson.

And he not only expected it but created the (fake) opening on purpose? I ask because the whole thing was quite preventable. He stops aiming for almost gratuitous reasons.
