Thanks!
Thanks!
I have the same question.
I starred your post because I’ve read it five times and I’m still not sure whether I’m supposed to feel insulted or not. lol. My point was just that these guys are better at what they do than the vast majority of people who’ve ever tried to do what they do. It’s just that we compare them (and call them idiots, etc)…
I guess the real question is: does Lexus/Toyota make a car that you can have as much fun driving for the same price? That would be the best of both worlds....
See, that’s what scares me. I don’t want to buy a car just to drive it for 25K.
Yeah, I almost mentioned Marty. How many players and coaches don’t even have that much success? How many don’t even get to that level in the first place? And yet we fans sit around and talk about how obviously bad this play call was or how objectively terrible that throw was.
Thanks; I didn’t know there was a 128 as well. I have owned mostly Toyotas due to reliability. What do you feel the upper limit on mileage should be when shopping for one of these?
Would it be fair to call the 135 this century’s 2002? Because I had a couple 2002s when I was in college, loved everything about them, but haven’t bought a sporty car as an adult because, well, I’m the target demo of this thread: I’m just not that into cars. I would actually buy another 2002, but I don’t want to pay…
Andy Reid and Alex Smith seem like the same person: they are both really good at what they do. They are even better than most people at what they do. But they will always have to compete against the few people who are better.
Does anyone know if Volvos get into more, less, or the same number of accidents as other vehicles? I know that my awareness on the road is more heightened when I’m on a motorcycle versus a car because I feel more, well, naked. So I was wondering if drivers of Volvos might be similarly (not to say consciously or…
Honest question: why did you have patience for it before now? I mean, dudes don’t feel obligated to have patience with entertainment directed at women.
The object of possession is assumed. Another example: Eat At Joe’s.
I agree with being upset with rich guys for trying to fleece taxpayers out of money to build stadiums. Do not agree with also being upset with rich guys when they’re privately financing.
The last time I watched this sport it was called motocross and I had a poster of Bob Hannah on my bedroom wall. I am old.
I’m in the same boat: I’m raising a 14 year old and as soon as he is off to college, I’m off, too. Probably the mountains. I like the notion of living out of an RV and visiting places, but I think I’d get tired of that before long.
I’ve been debating whether to buy one of these for my 14 year old son. He loves the Iron Gym, so maybe this would help him expand on that?
well, you know what they say, you cant drink all day if you dont start in the morning....
“buy a few canvases and a paint set and drunk watch a few Bob Ross videos.”
That is saddening.
Metaphysics?!?!
