For the life of me, I still don't know why anyone trusts the answers to medical questions from anyone other than a doctor.

Count me in on the work smarter not harder ethic. I used to be a "work 12 hour days and brag about it" person. But I realized that this was just plain stupid.

Why would you hang out at a coffee shop that doesn't have free Wi-Fi? In most cities, there are plenty of places that do.

I'm not sure why anyone would care when you sent an email, but this is a great tip for those times you accidentally hit send.

I still run it (AVG- nice and light, free for home use).

I have no problem with the latest Adobe Reader, not sure what more it could do... and its much faster than previous versions.

I think, in reality, salary is completely open on most jobs. It always was when I was job searching as well hiring for a company.

There is a program called VideoGet. Does this all in one automated step, as its own application. You paste the URL in there, click download.

Hmmmm... I gotta believe there is software just like this that runs as-is and not inside a widget. I don't have one or know off the top of my head... but its not like an app like this is hard to write.

Is there anywhere I can get a Last Session INI or some other guide to merely making the fastest least-bloat XP? But still including as many features as possible.

@geekender: Not to get into a Vista vs. XP battle, but really what advancements were made? I've never heard of a single advancement that meant anything.

@Posco Grubb: Sure, I can see it working for some. But to me all a virtual desktop app does is hide buttons in the taskbar. What more is it doing after I minimize all and maximize the app I want to work on?

To each their own. I never liked virtual desktops at all. Windows minimize, and most of them can be put into the system tray. What more do you need?
