@bangoker+lifehack: To each their own. If I nap, it makes me far too awake when I should go to bed that night, and messes up two days.

@TheOtherHalf: While this is somewhat useless compared to merely zipping with a password... I think the point is, the docx with your hidden file WILL open, and you'd never suspect it holding a secret file.
How many things can one actually add to their morning ritual? I mean... how many things does a typical person want to do that they don't do?
I am so anti-piracy, I make my friends pay a license to watch baseball games at my house. And I make them pay ASCAP every time I crank up some music.
@Malthian: Exactly... what are the 88 people who voted for that saying, as compared to the "it depends" option. Ha!
The real sticky part is the methods you use to get the pirated content. If you're downloading what is akin to a bootleg version of something, that's still illegal.
How paranoid do you have to be to worry about food coloring in something you'll eat maybe 2-3 a year, and the colored part isn't even edible?
@bornonbord: I just bought one of those, and I can't believe I've lived without it for all this time. Seriously well spent $30 or whatever.
@Tony Bullard Jr: When riding with my GF, we use a normal wire lock to lock the frames to a pole.
@Alaska Jack: I live in a city with a ton of thiefs. 5 bikes stolen thus far between my GF and I.
That is insane that they made that change. I don't use Linux much, but that's something people are so used to- it becomes muscle memory.Seriously, when i go to minimize, I do it subconsciously. If you moved the buttons even 10-15 pixels, it would seriously goof things up for me.Same with "Show the desktop" in XP,…
Other than Bittorrent (which i do rarely), I've never had an issue with any application taking up too much bandwidth.
Netflix, MLB.tv, lots of TV sites all use it. I find it streams high-def content much better than Flash, especially on older machines (which is what my TV is hooked to).
@UnderLoK: Well, I think both are great, but I agree- the taste the grill gives is just awesome. I'm curious if there's something one can add to the sous-vide steak to replicate the taste?
This is precisely the mindset I take when doing a deep decluttering. Look it up on ebay. If its worth your time to go through the sales process, post it. Otherwise give it away.
I still like the old, classic task bar from back in the Windows 95 days. It "just works"... shows everything that's open, click a button to view the window.
@thinkerer: A ton of American restaurants *do* use this technique. I believe a few up-and-coming ones are using *only* this method.
Thank you! I've been doing this for years since I learned it. I can't believe they didn't teach me this in drivers ed, and so few people know this.
yeah, but you can take a one-pixel image and just change the width/height.
@P_Smith: How is that "misuse"? Stores always give first time customers a deal, even before the Internet was born.
