Thanks for the article. If they have been putting money into advertising for years it seems at one time or another they were successful in a sale or scams of some sort.

Wouldn't changing tires on the 2J be a bitch or is there a quick flip-up panel?

If LeMons counts there's no way we'll ever pick ten! That is a damn good one though.

This comparable picture of a early '80s Hot Wheels DeLorean prototype sent me down a long road of car obsession and ultimately my purchase of a real DeLorean when I was old enough.

I'm watching it on my work computer with no sound so I miss things a lot.

My statement wasn't meant to be taken seriously, only to show how much I want to dick around with awesome machinery.

Can anyone tell me the purpose of that little strobe on top?

My only frustration with military spending is that I DON'T GET TO PLAY WITH THE TOYS!

I've had some squirrely passengers on my bike and they have never thrown me off my intended path more than a little bit. I could see a large passenger making him weave in the lane but this seemed far beyond that.

I'm going to say that is a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe, so good guess.

Also as far as pistons clearing the valves, on most engines the pistons and valves overlap in their full range of movement and must be timed to avoid interference. As you can see in one of the pictures up there a valve has broken off from impact and banged around inside the chamber causing incredible damage.

The guy is apparently hand filing grooves in the head for some reason, leaving metal shavings everywhere and I'm sure contributing to head gasket failure.

I think the pictures of the Supra from that linked thread were the most shocking.

Me too, I can hardly tell what happens when the camera man has a seizure.

Feel free to ask questions, this is a great time to learn.

It is an awful and bland car, but at least the proportions are within reason and to the average person you'd completely blend in to traffic. It is a throwaway car that is marginally useful to most people.

Still better engineered and more useful than the Smart, but only by a little.

Yes, many of my supposedly poor friends have spent tens of thousands of dollars on disposable technology in the last decade and yet they question my watch and car buying choices.

It's not at all about figuring the cost versus how well it does its job, when you buy a high end watch you are doing it for the craftsmanship and precise finishing that goes into each one.
