This makes me wonder why Mexico hasn't had a bigger domestically produced car presence. It seems that automakers all over the world love Mexico and new foreign car plants are on the increase.

Yes, I definitely meant it to apply to everything in life but especially women and cars.

I'm honored to have the number 2 spot. I drove my DeLorean to work today and felt like a little kid again.

The XRS actually had some damn good acceleration for a Corolla. Unfortunately once you are paying that price you could opt for another car with a chassis to match the engine.

Yes, 908 please!

Yeah, I remember U.S. Integra owners wanting the Japanese front end and them wanting our small round headlamp version. Everyone wants what they don't have.

From a fellow Miata owner, I agree.

Sometimes the flawed things that fuel your unexplained attractions make you happiest in life. Quirky is good and life is too short to drive something boring.

Ironically enough there is a perfectly good saw and ladder in his bedroom but it is set aside for sexy times with the missus.

Right on! Even though I know that probably none of these would pass U.S. or Euro safety standards we need these things here.

That's about right. I usually trail off over the last few letters of any french word with a vowel sound. If I pronounce it like my French friend does I just sound like a pretentious ass.

Hearing my French friend pronounce them in the proper accent sounds nice, but when I do it it sounds pretentious. I usually stick with how most Europeans say it.

But of course!

Most Americans seem to mispronounce Renault and Peugeot.

Which this is most clearly not...

I wonder why they used the tiny race mirrors on this car instead of the standard street ones?

Ooh, those are nice.

I'm assuming one of those openings behind the rear quarter glass is the fuel door, but why is there one on either side?

Do you have a head on shot of those headlamps open? I'm a sucker for hidden headlamps.

That is a worry, but at least new cars have some pretty impressive impact absorbing structures, even the small ones. Glad you're okay, but I can understand why this is the sort of thing that makes you reevaluate your car choice.
