Possible, but I imagine if blocking the logo was part of the joke they would have blurred it like they did to the Google logo or used a huge piece of tape rather than carefully covering it.

Yes, but I think that may have been a joke on how clueless Tobias really is.

I wonder why they had to tape over the Subaru logos on the interior and exterior of the car but not the badges of any others?

Apparently this car had a loudspeaker in it. I'm guessing this was to make up for not being able to stick your head out the tiny windows and yell at people.

At least it was fairly light, but I suppose there isn't much car there.

Exactly, they remind me so much of guys putting cheap auto zone LED strips in their grille.

I can't defend much on this car but I do applaud them for not using a strips of LEDs on the front as daytime running lamps.

Wow, you are damn lucky. That picture is quite chilling.

I worked at a Subaru Dealer when the Tribeca came out and I remember that we drove several at once to the shipyard for a single buyer in Russia. I'm not sure why these got a reputation.

I imagine the trials guys have a huge advantage on that section but not so much on the hillclimbs or the flat out parts. There really is no perfect bike for everything and you must be technically skilled in dealing with any obstacle.

I've watched DVDs of past races and I am amazed at how brutal this race can be. Some of those hillclimbs don't even look like they should be possible.

The early Ferrari 458s were burning due to overheated adhesive so they changed to rivets. A lot of this stuff may not manifest in test cars but once you have several hundred running around being subjected to the daily stop and go it can happen.

The higher performance your engine is, the more heat is generated. Most supercars have some pretty sophisticated ways of dealing with this, but high heat is their nature.

That's hilarious, I know a girl who bought a Kia that was a former rental car and said exactly the same thing, word for word.

I'm guessing with the front suspension/steering and how flat the car is there was no usable space. If weight distribution was an issue with the spare I can see why it was up front. I imagine that the front piece being designed to open as one it was more practical to open a tiny hatch than the whole front every time.

According to Wikipedia the Lancia has a loudspeaker. What exactly would you be yelling over that? Is that so you can call to all the fine ladies since your windows are way too small to stick your head through?

Grr! I'm a shark!

I don't think this is a matter of room for Perez, I still don't see how his line would have worked entering the chicane even if Kimi was out of the way. It seemed to be aggressive desperation.

Thanks, I'm always worried about getting spyware from things like these so I appreciate the help.

Thanks for the tips!
