Awesome stuff, any place I can watch this online?
I'll admit I rarely find drifting that cool, but isn't it much cooler to slide while getting your bumper as close to the wall as possible without actually hitting it?
Based on the wacky and illogical sizes I'm guessing his little sister went nuts with the label maker. Clearly the horn was the most important thing to her.
I always hated these.
This is what I came here to post. I just saw these recently on a Miata and had to get pictures of how awful it was.
Yeah, you pretty much would have been my best friend for this.
I do remember the script and weak plot themes getting lamer as the show went on, but for a while there was nothing cooler to me than a transforming Viper that fought crime with futuristic weapons.
Hell yeah, it was everything a young me thought was cool at the time.
I remember both had under door weapons, but if I recall correctly the early one had missiles in there and the later non-violent car used the EMP only.
Holy crap, I used to love this show as a kid. It had a transforming, crime-fighting car and that was the coolest thing in the world. I was too young to know it was purely advertising with a terrible script.
I love the mocking lyrics in this song and how it was a deliberate commentary on how formulaic pop songs are huge money makers.
I'd love to know how the blades on that offshore wind turbine are built. I can't even imagine how big the facility has to be or what level of precision is required on forming them. Is balance much of an issue on that thing?
Does anyone have information on that sweet Opel Manta and the team running it? I loved seeing that thing go around.
I'm not sure this Dick Cheney looking fellow is familiar with how pushing a car works.
These are all fantastic basic tips. In my driving class the one that caught me out was keeping your eyes up. We fail to do this so many times in street driving when you are focused on the car in front of you.
True, but at what speed does slipstreaming begin to help? How quickly would they reach that speed? I realize most of this is beyond testing with this scenario but I'm still fascinated.
That lead picture did enough to get me excited. I think it moved...
I actually find this fascinating and I'm sure someone out there could calculate it, but lets say they are moving at 20 mph and someone at the back starts accelerating hard and is doing 40 mph by the time he passes the lead. Once the lead spots him moving to overtake and he begins accelerating as well, how long would…
That is true, I'm sure they'd see it coming but you can't tell me a guy at the end of the pack picking up speed to overtake quickly wouldn't at least have a bit of a head start, possibly enough to keep them out of his slipstream.
