Well, we’re currently looking at a choice for our highest office between two people who are around 70 years old, that a majority of the country doesn’t seem very pleased with, and the strongest challenger from the primaries was over 70. Obviously they don’t think in lockstep, still those were and are our choices.

I’m not sure what I said that you liked, but thank you for those kind words. It’s very easy for younger generations (any) to ridicule the generations that preceded them. You shouldn’t have to apologize for the one you belong to.

My phone auto-corrected “mass” to massage and I didn’t catch it in my haste. I could think of worse ways to go. Sounds intimate at least.

Agreed. I did and I am.

Self-centered jerks, aye? What’s that like?

No. You absolutely did not do that. You said,”Not I” and literally every other sentence following the first, in your original post, were insults directed at the author about her age.

Those were the focus! That’s what galls me. I can relate to your anti bb perspective and have railed against their atrocities and refusal to hand over the keys. What I cannot relate to is painting in only black and white by association. Neither do I wish to focus on one small part of an article on a topic of greater

You cherry picked on a personal issue for YOU, pulling focus away from the life or death matter on which the article itself addresses.

A writer’s perspective is necessarily a part of any piece that they write, whether or not they directly reference it.

A baby boomer writes a piece about a young woman, so that both might raise awareness on an issue that could affect anyone with a still beating heart. And you hold the writer’s feet to the fire because she dared open her (old-ass) mouth and make reference to (entirely relevant) past events (that happened at the same

Great article. One correction: The Brady campaign that began after Brady was shot (in 1981) is less than 40 years old.

Last night I got in a too long debate about Ryan Lochte, with a friend who felt a need to defend him, while admitting to knowing nothing about him or his actions.

Love the video. Nice recommended stories. But where the hell is Dock Ellis?

Look at how not-racist Pence is letting that black man cut his hair! It’s just like Barbershop (or those scenes from Coming to America)!

Hey, I’ve been in heated recreational contests between the top teams of a given league, that have featured impressive displays of athleticsm. I’ve also let my emotions get the best of me via many embarrassing outbursts on the fields of play (gratefully, at a lower rate as I’ve aged, I think) and I can tell you what

You make a strong case for co-rec participants being recognized on this list.

Hey, Yo. Some of those leagues go year round (with separate seasons). That means I’m getting some for sure sprint-like activity like 40 days a year! Which most health experts would agree is not nearly enough.

Always good to hear from you Frank.

My best guess is it was Rick Flair. Or possibly Dusty Rhodes. Both have/had stupid hair, feuded with the Kolovs in NWA, have big mouths, have done commentary work, and are associated with Southern cities.

I hate you. At least he attempted a joke (that many people apparently liked).
