If Claire was acting like a woman of the 1770s then she would not have cried out at the abuse in the first place. She would have just kept her feelings to herself. I found this whole scenario very shaky because what white person is going to cry out against slavery in Jamaica in the 1770s in such a public manner?

John Grey is homosexual? When did this get revealed/suggested?

Except many (if not all) of the Legends showed up in this episode so it really COULD count as a Legends episode (more than any of the other episodes in the event could count for what they were supposed to be anyway).

Wally was at the wedding in the first episode, so he was there somewhere.

Once again, Oliver had a Kryptonite arrow (which implies there is Kryptonite on Earth-1). There is no reason for Kryptonite to even exist on Earth-1 if Krypton is still intact (unless Oliver has some method of multi-dimensional travel that was not stated during this crossover).

Superman was in this crossover? When and where? I don’t remember that at all. I thought it was Barry Allen that beat Thawne.

And then I was a bit confused when he called himself the “Man of Steel”considering that is what Superman is generally referred to as (but then I am a bit confused about who Nate is because I have not been watching Legends for a while).

This seems especially odd when it is established during this crossover that EVERY Earth has a Kara so I keep wondering where the Earth-1 Kara is.

What DEO? Since when has there been a DEO on Earth 1? And did the DEO from Supergirl’s earth gather up the Kryptonite inter-dimensionally? Is there even Kryptonite on Earth 1? Is the Kryptonite the same across all dimensions?

I was also a bit confused why he never ever put his cowl on. What was the point of having a mask if you do not wear it?

“African” does not mean “Black”, but I see where you are going there.

Why can’t Joe just be a foster father? Barry did already have a bio-dad that he still had a relationship with.

I have no idea if anyone else has mentioned this, but I have a couple of stray observations of my own from this episode:

Annekje should be appropriately greatful for Claire saving her husband’s life, but it IS a pretty big step to risk your own life (and presumably her husband’s as well) to help Claire in the ways that she does (or attempts to do). Annekje IS a plot device in this TV series whether she is more in the book or not.

So, are you saying Annekje is better developed in the books? This is a review of the series after all and should not necessarily require a familiarity with the source material (albeit that it could potentially help at times).

So, who are you saying DID betray Jamie by telling the authorities about the body in the creme de menthe? It does not appear to necessarily be Tompkins here. I am sorry if this is a stupid question but it is the one the reviewer was asking.

Now that you mention it, I think you are 100% correct here. It is Barry Allen that is in charge of Star Labs now (although the original question possibly remains).

I am getting annoyed at Ralph’s seeming ability to accomplish superhuman feats (like holding back an automobile or a helicopter) when is superpower is really just basically that he can stretch (which would actually make him WEAKER the more he stretched). I know, I know, this is basically just playing out the same junk

But why was that SUPPOSED to be Alura? Kara was told it was an FBI agent so why are we supposed to accept that this woman was supposed to be anyone else? And was it known that the DEO director was really J’onn J’onz at this point in history? This whole scene made zero sense to me.

But Metropolis is a city in Illinois ;-)
