I started to question the necessity of this piece, then remembered President Bone Spurs and his mouth-breathing followers...

It’s fabulous and always feels grown up and glamorous unlike many places in LA ;) Also up there Polo Lounge, Hotel Bel Air....

I still love Jessica on Ellen(and ellen seems a little cold towards her) when Ellen asks her how she became the owner of a billion dollar company and Jessica is straight up, “well if I can do it, anybody can”. There’s definitely something humbling about her.

I almost make six figures and don’t have a couple grand laying around either. Rent and student loans take over the majority of my take home pay. 

So I had to look this guy up (“author” is thrown around a lot). He is a health insurance lobbyist who writes for The Federalist, Ben Domenech’s* online right-wing rag.

And just to add, this was for one person. I’m sure it would be much more expensive for a family.

Sadly I liked and found the show inspirational at first. I think I watched three seasons. Eventually something went off in my head and I realized, OMG this is actually horrible.

This show is painful to watch and the premise is cruel, as is the way the people participating are portrayed. It’s just mean.

It makes me sick that this show is back on the air.
