Cheaters you are all fucking scum.

Anita Sarkeesian is not a feminist. Feminism would be much more accepted in the mainstream if she was not a part of it. She drove every moderate away from feminism
To the feminists who will invariably be on here talking about how something like this puts the attention on the man's actions being selfish in nature and how he's using his girlfriend as an object to inflate his ego and his standing with her in the relationship, as well as his place within his group of friends,…
??? It's really that upsetting? I think at some point I've put my hands on the heads of everyone who's given me a BJ. Sometimes it's just a little non-verbal communication, sometimes it's nice to run your fingers through her hair, and sometimes it's part of some harder face-fucking.
Unfortunately I don't think of Jez as particularly feminist, at least not in the way I was taught. Feminism I was taught is that men and women are completely equal. The only job a woman can't do is be a sperm donor and the only job a man can't do is be an egg donor. After that, it's all open. That's not something Jez…
Like everything on Jez.
What about fat chicks who spread their disgusting meat rolls all over the place? Ever ride on an airplane stuck between two of those beasts? Stop spreading ladies. It is not your right to take up public space because of your 'body issues.'
Criticize and poke fun at the habits of men = feminism
I am a woman, and I have what I know is an annoying tendency to either sit "criss cross applesauce" or sprawl out pretty much everywhere. Not buying that only men spread out on public transit. I can only imagine the shitstorm if some men approached women they felt were taking up too much space.
Again, I respectfully disagree. I could absolutely be wrong and anyone here is welcome to present the evidence but...is there really any disparity in the way threats against women are treated vs. threats against men?
Oh please. Women take up space (and especially TIME) even more selfishly than men.
Sure, it's the point if you say it's the point. Doesn't make it true.
My favorite part was when they were measuring and you can see multiple women taking up more space.
Yeah...I just don't see what you're getting at here. Every example you listed above is one in which an individual or group of individuals has actively harassed, intimidated, and/or assaulted/killed a woman or women. The people you liken to the hackers are people with serious misogynistic tendencies who display…
"Dead woman's body kept in semi-working condition because of status as incubator."
Am I the only person who is gonna ask how the fuck this is measured? Self-reporting on mental states is pretty much the most unreliable sampling method I can imagine.
Yep. True. Most of the comments are "backing up" the study with personal anecdotes. Or if women are painted in a negative light, it'll be the patriarchy/society/culture. If it's a flaw of men that is pointed out, it'll be, very often...men. The thing is I tend to be wary of social studies and even if I wasn't this…
No need to beat around the bush. The former happens when the study paints women in a negative light and it's the latter when women are shown to be superior. It's so predictable at this point.
Not having your face being eaten by your cat when you die alone choking on a slice of pizza.
I find it so weird how Jezebel reports on these sorts of studies. If a study points to there being some kind of difference between men and women, half the time Jezebel will be all skeptical and suggest the study must be using sexist methodology or working from sexist assumptions. But then sometimes, they will…
