Never offered a 4spd
A lot of you complain, but in all reality, that aim is impressive.
I hat to tell ya there $kay, but them’s Bull’s (elk). Note the thicker hair from the chest up.
Not only that, but you know...$30-100k....
Easy, my AMC Grand Wagoneer
Yes!
My dad made this when he was a kid, he graduated college (undergrad) in ‘72 (if I recall correctly).
This wasn’t just any car bud, it was a Corvette! No Corvette is just a pile of metal and rubber!
Woah woah woah....who says Schwaggy’s don’t have electrical issues?!
Interesting timing. I’m dealing with a similar situation at school. I’ve been attending a state college for 5 nonconsecutive years now (4 years of undergrad, a year off, and now 1 year into grad school). The first year I saw a number of swastikas carved into bathroom doors and desks, all of which I put the “no”…
You must know an entirely different class of enthusiast than I do; who’s putting a blower on their 911 in their “parents backyard?”
I’m a bit off your ideal route, but if you end up broken down in the Gunnison/Crested Butte area I’ve got a (small) garage and a healthy collection of tools.
If ya’ don’t mind, I’ll chime in on this notion: the “payment” associated with an old schwagoneer is far more than that of a new car.
It’s because Schwagoneers couldn’t be given away for $2500 10 years ago.
Funny thing is that users of this site (“jalops”) would call CP on this car.
And a shop that works on Jeeps only needs 2 customers because they’re either broken and need to be fixed or getting modified (whether useful or not).
I’ve always wondered that same thing. Back when I lived in a big city I would drive down dealership lane periodically, and there was one shop that always had a few mod trucks (and Jeeps). Lift, wheels and tires, some funky paint (two-tone with a fade, tribal graphics, etc.), bumpers or a brush guard, and some…
You think that because they do.
Refreshing to read the thoughts of someone who actually knows about these cars (assuming that you’re not just putting together a bunch of nonsense, which with my knowledge of Ladas you could be doing).
