@Doug Radcliffe: What am I doing? This is a much better example.

Round my neck of the woods (SW England) it's the modded 5-door Escort all the way.

@FodderTheSane: I'd been wondering why there were so many of these (and all so seemingly well done). I think you might've got it.

@audifan7: From the link above for the Italdesign Nazca. [www.supercars.net] Really, cars left to rot like this, by a guy who's supposed to love cars. This upsets me.

Some of his BMW's look so unloved, you'd think he'd at least pay someone to look after them. Such a waste.

@GreenN_Gold: Or lift it, there's really not much to them, I bet it's easier than righting a dropped Goldwing.

@Turboner: They're light enough to lift, although they might have moved one of those ramps.

Some years ago I came across an ebay listing for a non running Chaika that was sitting in a barn somewhere in Southern England, I thought about bidding but decided against it, it went for under £600. I have kicked myself for it ever since.

@BrtStlnd: Yup. You don't want those cops to feel the need to "notify you of their presence"

I've never seen one in the flesh (steel?) but my heart would race if I did.

@sharkd: From what I could make out it sounds like the was saying that they're in "The Tornado" , which from what I can work out is a steak house in Madison, Wisconsin. Funny, the video looked like they were in the car . . .

@duurtlang: More or less the same here, the most common cars I can remember from my youth (Ford Cortina and Granada, Rover P6 and SD1) are a real treat to see nowadays, let alone the quirky Saabs and Citroens. Jags and Range Rovers, along with the destruction-proof Mercs, seem to fair better here, when the government

@duurtlang: I'm actually in the UK so Chrysler even less common. We've always had a few Citroëns on the road here (my dad drove nothing but CX's for much of the 80's and 90's), sadly parts costs led many to be scrapped fairly young here (truly tragic), you generally won't see anything much older than a Xantia in a

@duurtlang: scavenging junkyards to pick up front clips of Citroëns

@Tentacle: That is definitely a worthwhile self reply. Also, that first picture, I wouldn't mind it framed on my wall.
