Reads like the rant of someone pushing 40 who's pissy because the music of the damn kids nowadays is no match for what he listened to at 18, and get off his lawn! I don't know how old O'Neal is, or what he considers "his" music, but that's definitely the impression he gives in this blast of discomfort and vitriol.

One of the greatest gifts of my life was being fortunate enough, through age and location, to be able to take Tom Lehrer's "American Musical" class at UC Santa Cruz in the mid-80s. And yes, he is just as funny in person as you would guess from his albums.
