Isn’t this just the Dark Universe for uncreative hacks?

If it wasn’t for io9, I wouldn’t even know these movies existed.

100% agree!

You know, I had zero interest in “Blood and Honey”, but I could see this going after the same sort of thing as all the “sharknado” and “sharkoctopus” sort of hype. The sort of thing where enough people decide “this is ridiculous and stupid sounding, we should see it!” to make it earn a decent profit profit. I am sure

Please stop giving these people attention.

My eyes still involuntarily roll every time I hear “Space Force”.

Great article. During coast, I noticed that the ship was rotating (they said rolling) continuously prior to and during the atmospheric re-entry. There is a comment in one of the slides about this, so it was apparently unplanned. No doubt the mechanisms meant to manage this failed or need work to perfect. Thus, the

“The X-Men have gone woke!!!” might be the only thing that can beat claims that “Star Trek has gone woke!!!” in terms of sheer insanity.

It sure looked like the vehicle was shedding a statistically significant number of heat shield tiles.  That, and the roll rate were a couple things that need attention.  Staying right side up is pretty important.

I think FAA will want to see better control of the booster’s descent before they allow it to approach land. But I’m confident the next launch will provide much of that assurance.

They can probably replace all the tiles in less time than Shuttle needed for typical refurbishment. It’s good they have about 4 kinds of tiles, instead of the thousands of unique shapes needed for Shuttle.

Shotwell should get all the credit.  She is the reason for SpaceX’s success.

I’m thinking more about the durability of the heat shield - I’m sure they can get it down for a soft landing for the first time a prototype goes through re-entry. But we need to get some idea on what the refurbishment time will be for the heat shield after launch.

Pretty good round-up!

C’mon, man, this seems mean. None of them? I’m writing in none of them.

If it has testicles hanging from the back end    then an idiot is driving it.

She turned down Star Wars for this...
Like...I don’t even have a metaphor for that.

The QOTD wasDriven exclusively by idiots” not “Designed exclusively by Idiots”

I saw a Hellcat Charger or challenger not sure which one, smash a light pole off Jamboree near Hwy 1 yesterday, But that was to be expected...My actual nominee is the Freakin Tahoe. First of all the dam thing is too big, they are driven by short people so they can feel “safe”, but don’t even know the dimensions of
