I have long since come to the conclusion that Susan Collins is neither a Republican nor a Moderate, but is in fact a coward afraid of doing anything that would jeopardize her position in the Senate.

I haven’t even heard anything about Prisoners, but I’ll take your recommendation under advisement.

It was patently obvious when he was nominated why Carrotface von Golfcart nominated this idiot and everybody knew it. It’s just that the Republicans in the Senate were to afraid of being primaried by one of His Orangeness’s legion of followers that got him confirmed. His performance and lack of professional demeanor…

I’ve seen Blade Runner 2049 and I enjoy it, although it has some problems that annoy me. I don’t love it the way I do Blade Runner. I haven’t seen Arrival so I won’t comment. Sicario I think is vastly overrated. I didn’t particularly care for it, although like you I would say it’s a visual feast.

Except that Princess Irulan actually is the narrator (or the pre-narrator) of much of the book. Most chapters start out with an excerpt from one of her many books on Muad’Dib. 

I was to understand that like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame that they were filmed simultaneously, but were going to be released separately a year or so apart. Denis Villeneuve has said on several occasions it will be split into two movies, and there has been some online discussion on where the split…

Not even being particularly familiar with the Morris Minor (but fully aware of what they are) I still saw them in about a second and a half.

As a professional truck driver I’ve been backing up trailers for decades. Then here a couple of years ago I heard my buddy who I drive with give some advice to a new-hire: “When you’re backing up a trailer, hold the steering wheel at the bottom and turn it the way you want the trailer to go.”

I never, ever, tailgate. I know my reaction speed is terrible. However when I was married my ex was a terrible incorrigible tailgater. Her excuse? “If I drive closer they’ll get out of my way!” She also was a “last second brake” person.

I remember my Dad telling me “Always keep both hands on the wheel, even when turning sharply. Feed the wheel with one hand through the other hand,  Because that’s how racecar drivers do it. Never go hand over hand.”

What happened to her?  I noticed she hadn't been around, but didn't see a reason. Just standard Kinja clusterfuck?

That is an insanely weird story, of which I am aware.
