Not strictly true. The M-4, AR-15 and M-16 are all hammer fired, as well as the ubiquitous Kalashnikov family, the AK-47 and the AK-74. As were their predecessors like the M-1 Gerand, the M-1 Carbine, and the SKS.

No embarrassing stories really, because learning to drive was fairly painless. Except for the very first lesson and it was no fault of my own.
Hahahaha! I knew a guy back in the 80's who used to do that all the time on purpose! He had a decrepit early 70's Ford station wagon, and we’d be going down the Interstate at a statute 55 mph (which was in actuality probably 70 mph) in the middle of the night when he’d shout “Hold on!”
When I first read this article I only gave a perfunctory glance at the accompanying photograph. Now, a day later, I noticed the girl front and center, clearly wearing a United States Flag as a cape.
I don’t think they’re confused. I think they’re betting on it.
Insanity.
Also, the album is perfect and is his best solo album. This is not debatable.
And the other one is a Lotus. What’s your point?
Apparently a whole string of people, but also he was generally a jackass to his wife.
I hate the whole Natasha/Bruce relationship on all sorts of levels, but that one has never been it. It always felt like it came out of nowhere, with Nat being portrayed as little more than desperate for a romantic relationship and none of the other guys she works with are available so she settles.
I drive in and out of a scrap yard in a truck, (Kenworth) and let me tell you I’ve plugged a lot of tires. Generally speaking a rope plug is as good as anything, although we generally do pull tires that have been plugged and put an internal patch on it when we have time.
Yeah, it was an era before they were really collectible. Of course that was 30 years ago too.
Never was a fan of the VW type 3 fastback, but they were decent cars.
I love them, but unfortunately their prices have skyrocketed in recent years. Same deal with Pinzgauers, which are arguably a better vehicle.
There used to be a guy down at the track who would drag race one of those. It was painted flat black, had a fire-breathing Hemi in it, and looked like it was going to fall apart when he launched. It was squirrely going down the track too. I never saw him crash it, but I kept waiting. It would run 10 second 1/4…
“I lost my license, now I don’t drive.”
200,000 kilometers on a Scion is barely broken in! My xA is pushing 300,000 kilometers. They’re identical mechanically.
I could have bought an Edsel exactly like the top one but in the bottom one’s color for $600 back in the early 90's. It was in pretty damn good condition, but nobody wanted it because it was a 4-door.
I’d give my left nut for one of those in that condition.
Me. I do. I’m really not very good at my current job, but it pays the bills.
