No shit. I remember when The Patriot Act was first announced and I was screaming at the television. It’s about the most anti-patriotic law I can remember, abusing the Constitution in ways an alcoholic wife-beater never dreamed about.

I finally figured out the Conservative tactic! Just attach “Freedom” to any concept and that automatically makes it good! “Freedom Factory” makes handcuffs! “Freedom Spam” and suddenly people start eating it! “Freedom Strippers,” now endorsed by your local church!

On that note, I know it’s a pandemic and it can be hard to get out to the barber/stylist (I solved this by simply clipping my hair myself down to Marine Corps standards) but all the guys out there who’ve let their beard go as long as their hair... First of all, I agree that this whole bill is a travesty full of pork to those who don’t really need support during these trying times. You could easily cut half of the crap it does that is utterly unrelated to the economic mess that Covid-19 has left us in.
