Developments seem to occur every 6 months. That will open the door to the realization that chaining multiple passenger units to a single motorized unit is even more efficient.

Cheaper with less capacity doesn’t exactly represent a win win.
I think the goal of trying to make tunnels cheaper is still valid. I don’t think anyone can disagree that there just isn’t room for more roads and more intersections in many places. From a practical standpoint, tunnels still make sense. Figuring out what goes in the tunnel, whether it be cars, trains, etc. doesn’t…
I watched that Chernobyl the other night and am finding myself much more engrossed in that than this final season of Game of Thrones...
The way they’ve handled the dragons has driven me fucking insane. I’m admittedly not the biggest GoT fan (I haven’t read the books, and I watch GoT because it’s the best fantasy show I’ve got right now), but holy hell has the writing been lazy bullshit in this regard.
The weirdest part about Rhaegal was that it wasn’t clear if he was dead or alive at the end of the previous episode... so they were like “oh, he somehow survived that shit last episode...” to just kill him in the dumbest way possible.
No offense mate but if dragons were your only motivation to watch GOT I don’t think you really get the show.
GOT was (supposedly) a fantasy political drama. The treason, treachery and witty dialogue was the only remarkable thing about the bloody thing.
When they ‘Lost’ that (yep, I noticed what you did there lynxonyx…
I’ve read all the books (and don’t have much hope GRRM will ever finish) and watched the show. Up until now, I’ve been still (mostly) engaged, finding enough to entertain to make up for a lot of the meandering and odd writing. But the main, the only thing that really hooked me to books and show was the dragons. They…
If that was the last we see of ghost, I’ll be sad.
With how accurate the ballista apparently are (hitting a moving target from hundreds of yards away) there is no reason they didn’t just shoot Dany and end the war at the end of the episode. I doubt Cersei respects a ceasefire.
If there were more seasons left, the treatment of Ghost might be enough for me to quit watching. He had been protecting you for years, Jon! He just lost an ear for you. And you can’t even give him a little attention before sending him away forever?
If the walkers are truly done, I honestly don’t know if I can ever rewatch the show. I know that sounds dramatic, but if the walkers end that pathetically then it completely tarnishes Jon and Bran’s storylines. Yes, Jon has the Targaryen storyline, but so much of who he is was built around the Watch and the Army of…
They ‘Lost’ it... see what i did there?
Last episode broke me. I’ve been a defender of the show for so long, standing up when people shat on the writing, finding excuses and justifications and a silver lining. But that last episode... It was so contrived; nobody did anything that made sense for their character, it was all just the hand of the writers moving…
Petition to go retro and rename Deadspin Kissing Jennifer Ravalo. All in favor say “Aye!”
Jesus, after he tries to kiss her, she tries to walk away while he follows her staring at her ass. That’s next level creeping right there.
*checks notes*
She should have activated the Erin Andrews deflection technique:
Boy did I pick the wrong profession. Apparently, I should have been a reporter.
Joe Namath watches video, furiously scribbles notes.
