I don’t know much about the plot of Frozen II, but doesn’t it have to do with the main characters being lost and trying to find their way? The snowflake here is clearly trying to look like a compass rose/snowflake hybrid. I’ll chalk this up to a worldbuilding creative choice. 

It’s a shame all those other Terminator movies had to be made in the interim. This movie’s impact would be so much more significant if we haven’t had years of franchise-tarnishing, non-canon (apparently!) sequels.
