Does he have to resto-mod everything?!? To each their own but come on...

That dude’s helmet comes off way too easily. And often.

Multi-millionare athletes behaving like children. Idiots. Bench them all.

At the risk of being made fun of - what about grey market cars? I bought a grey market BMW and the front license plate bracket is only for Euro plates. Yeah, I could fab something with metal stock from Home Depot as an adapter but that might be cheesy. Speaking on a Doug-Doug level, what should I do?

What strikes me is why would a quick lube place even have the tools handy to do this? Was it a hand saw or a pneumatic/electric cutting wheel? What are those tools even doing there?

Building or rebuilding an engine has some serene moments. I did it for the first time this year. I think it peaked when painted parts started going back on. No factory involved, just me in my 20x10 garage and the machine shop that bored the block. And a credit card (there’s no leaving that out).

Florida + Spring Break....

I’ll be making those sounds all day.

This car has 275/30-21 on custom Forgeline wheels (best pic I could find of the rear). Even so - 800hp is quite a lot to put through anything less than a 305.

OK I think I read every comment and only saw this mentioned once: WHY IS THE ENGINE IN THE FRONT?!?!?!? Who takes a predominantly mid-engine car and makes it front engined? What’s going in the back? Is the 3cyl engine staying?

Summary:

WHY did GM insist on such tiny wheels? It was pandemic through the 80s and 90s. I think it makes the car extra lame.

OK it probably would have won anyway but a fortuitous checkered flag that caught the entire field off guard also helped a tad.

BMW / VW, who cares? The point was awesome.

How about another one? In the Wells, ME Auto Museum.

It can’t be very 90’s if it doesn’t have square headlights.

Ferrari builds road cars that end up getting raced. Ford/Multimatic are building race cars that may end up on the road. So it’s not a direct or fair comparison. Maybe Ferrari could introduce a purpose-built GT race car and the two can go head-to-head? Maybe Corvette should build a twin-turbo V6 mid-engine Corvette?

I'm guessing you're not familiar with the Z4 GT3/GTLM then.

Writing this in 2015 but it doesn’t seem that anyone noticed. This is the 288GTO Evoluzione. It followed the 288GTO and was a precursor to the F40. Five were made.

It’s not the door that has me transfixed on this gif.
