Reading about the "diaper change" I'm really confused because how is that even an adjustment? In the classes I've been in, adjustments have consisted of slightly moving your shoulders or scooting your foot over a bit (and my instructors have always asked). The diaper change just sounds like dry humping.

so i practice ashtanga yoga, for years now. have learned from some of the best teachers out there. finally made it to India a few years ago to study (though I didn’t study at the P. Jois shala bc i lost my waiting list slot, and frankly glad i did as its a bit of yoga industry hipster racket over there these days, and

I have been touched inappropriately by a male yoga teacher. He spent a whole class repeatedly adjusting me, then towards the end he pressed his genitals against my butt. At the time I couldn’t actually believe it was happening so I didn’t react or say anything. It was only afterwards that I thought, oh my god, that

I adore the B.A. Test Kitchen videos- it’s worth watching more than 1 chef or series just to get a look into the kitchen staff and their relationships, all of which are (mostly) wholesome, funny, and really supportive. Even if you don’t intend to re-create the actual recipes, it’s incredibly binge-able. And I’ve

Omg, Ubertrout!! What an obnoxious flashback. :) It also makes me realize how long some of us have been around here!

Is this who CA Pinkham was trying to be before his racism, sexism, recycled anecdotes, and generally creepy behavior around women were revealed?

I’ll explain but let me something very clear in this post-Trump internet: I firmly “support laws or regulations to protect marginalized people from discrimination, like the Civil Rights Act”. In fact in my opinion as it stands neither the consitution nor the current legal framework goes far enough for oppressed

could be worse. I was in my parents’ house, complaining to a close friend about my (then) recent ex-fiancee. Eventually, got to “what did I even see in her,” and I swear to you at that moment I turned at saw my parents’ framed wedding photo, showing what may as well have been my dad and my ex. It was a

Last year someone here (PolicyChick) called these types of couples “Doppelbangers” and I have used that term ever since.
