It’s sort of an IcyHot/Extra Wintergreen type situation.

His not lying made all the sense to me cuz that’s him. The others thinking he would lie was the part that made no sense. Especially Tyrion, who knows how honorable and straight he is.

Guys, it was Tyrion. Jon has done a lot of stupid stuff but he didn’t come up with that plan. He was just stupid enough to go along with it.

WALL TORN

I was more thinking the child would have Dany’s dragon genes and Jon’s muscly arm(s)...

They needed to show a montage recap of Baelish scenes while Sansa narrated and cool jazz played in the background. Every now and then, you would see that Lord Royce was lurking in a corner. Him and Arya would make eye contact and slide their finger down their nose to one another.

I noticed that he left the lion epaulets behind. Slight nod to throwing the family protection away.

I think the writers were trying to be subtle and suggest that it was Baelish’s cynical, conspiratorial and incorrect assessment of Arya’s motives that gave him away. Arya never wanted to be Lady of Winterfell, and Sansa knew that. In trying to set Arya up, he made it clear that he was the culprit. Pulling the facts

He wasn’t going to lie. He knows that kind of stubborness got Ned killed and admits as much. But I agree with him that eventually words mean nothing if it becomes okay to lie.

Jaime is going to the good guys. That makes me happy.
