@Teknophilia: If you use Windows, Texter was featured here, and I believe it's a Lifehacker Original!

@TehBeardMan: Sorry it's not working, if there was a way to comment without using the reply button...

@TehBeardMan: Hmmm, maybe change @ to at or the : to a ;. I've seen it done before, but I just can't remember exactly how.

@Nitesh2: I think if you change something in between the @ and the : it wont promote them, like adding a space. I don't know for sure because I don't have a star, but I think I read about it in a comment. I can imagine that some other things may mess up, like the notifications on the home screen, but it may be worth

@Flail: I guess sparkling grape juice...it must be great not being a law-abiding minor...*sigh*

Happy New Years everyone!

@RedmondHeron: I'm pretty sure you would have figured it out by now, however I was reading through and saw that your post was unanswered. If you still need to know, I think you are looking for a DVD authoring tool, like the open-source DVD Flick which you can get here

I'm not sure what newspaper policies are nowadays, but in my small town, you used to be able to go to the newspaper and ask for the ends to a roll of paper. Apparently the printers can't use all of the paper on each roll, and there is a descent amount left, not enough to make it worthwhile to fire up the printer

@MugsTheGreat: Are Ideapads significantly less dependable?

@savvypenguin: I've been trying to create an urban survival kit for my close family members. Of course enclosed in an Altoids Tin, it will contain two flashdrives, one with special made versions of Linux for booting up on shady connections (I'll use MultiBootISO), and one with lots of portable apps for Windows such

I agree, I like the monkey.

@tacotime: I was wanting to make a sarcastic comment, however doing so would be difficult, which was the reason for the first part of my comment. And then I explained that I just assumed it wouldn't be legal, which led to the third part. Haha, looking back the sarcasm comment seemed pretty out of place!

@Vogie: Unless your dumbphone is as dumb as mine, which was released before this thing called airplane mode made it big. :-)

@tacotime: If only sarcasm could be portrayed through plain text comments... I just realized I made the assumption that it would not be legal... What is the world coming to?

@tacotime: Somewhat on topic, but what are you using to download, because I just tried Pirate App, just to see the proof of concept :-), which I would highly recommend, it's even nice and portable! If only it worked with wine on Ubuntu...

Hey everyone!

@Platypus Man: I guess having it on the phone would be the benefit, that way you wouldn't have to retrofit all of the outlets, you could slowly make the change through the devices.

@Platypus Man: Sorry, you are right, your new phone wouldn't be plugged in all day, my bad! However, plugging your phone in all night isn't great, I know many people do, and so my point is flawed. I wish there was a way, which may already exist, for the phone to stop drawing any power from the outlet, including

@spydr11: Its not great for the battery to be plugged in all day and all night. And its not wonderful for the screen to be on either, plus if you happen to get angry and throw your "alarm clock" against the wall.... well.... you get the point.

@Qxface1: The Boxee Box just runs the Boxee software in a nice prefabricated device. Unfortunatly, it ONLY runs the Boxee software so no torrents (darn) and no games.
