The thing the author seems to be missing is that I don't think you'll be able to use the Surface as a literal laptop. I don't see how that kickstand and screen-heavy device is supposed to work on your lap. So you'll still need your Macbook Air.
Getting my Curtis'es mixed up reading that review. The black guy, who plays Travis on this show, I know as Curtis from 24. He was one of my favorite characters. Too bad they gave him a cheap death. (Still talking about 24.) Curtis on Continuum was too cookie-cutter to care much about.

I think the head served no other purpose than to say "they look like us" or "they've been to Earth." In that respect, it could have been in another room.
