Yeah, I kept wondering where Stannis's daughter and Patches were. Book 5 kinda implied they might be more important later. And there's that whole thing with her grayscale.

I'm most impressed with that handheld one Watt blue laser. Not too many years ago for me to get a Watt of blue laser light I had to use an Ar+ ion laser that was a couple feet long and had a separate huge power supply that had to be water cooled.

LED has been co-opted as a misleading marketing term for displays that are actually LCD but are using white LED backlights (instead of CFL). Now that people are making actual LED TV sets, they have to distinguish themselves as Crystal LED.

I have to say the RW totally caught me by surprise, and it was awesome. Particularly sense I was getting board with the Catelyn chapters. She was annoyingly cautious about everything, and then BAM!
