Hm, I’m not sure the MCU movies have earned that kind of moment between Steve and Tony. IMO they’ve represented two different ideals for the Avengers, but I don’t get the sense that they’re closer to each other than to the other members of the team.

It’s just that Marvel’s historically been very tight-lipped about spoilers; cast members have joked about hit squads coming after them if they give anything away while promoting the movie.

He kind of had to share Civil War with Iron Man as well, despite that movie being billed as a Captain America movie.

Yeah, I don’t really think it’s a misdirect; the tweet is just surprising, given how hard Marvel have worked to control plot spoilers in the past. It makes sense to conclude Cap’s story in this movie.

Yeah, even if they stop making Iron Man movies I think they’ll keep having Tony pop up in Spider-Man and other MCU films.

I can’t believe Evans was allowed to post that, and leave it up. Honestly, in a way it makes me believe the character is not going to die, just because of how obvious a spoiler this would be.

Chidi’s sin is very relatable to me, but it’s weird that the show won’t acknowledge his massive, clinical anxiety.

That’s fair, but I dunno... I just felt like Bojack’s not usually this dumb, even when he’s blindly refusing to acknowledge his issues. I could be wrong, it just seemed off to me.

I don’t disagree, and I definitely prefer A:tLA to Korra. But I do think that having older protagonists let the latter have character relationships that were a little more complex than in the former (I never really liked any of the romance stuff in A:tLA, other than maybe Mei and Zuko).

Honestly I think that Korra would be a better candidate for a live-action remake (though it would still be completely redundant). You could cast older actors, with actual martial arts training and dramatic chops, rather than relying on the crapshoot that is casting child actors.

Both have their strengths!

I *think* that Bojack strangling Gina was supposed to be the lines between character and actor blurring - he believed, in that moment, that he really was Philbert and felt compelled to kill his partner. That seemed to be what was supposed to be happening throughout the episode but I don’t think it was spelled out…

I didn’t like Bojack’s obliviousness when it came to what he was doing with the therapist. That felt like more of a Todd or Mr Peanutbutter level of cluelessness.

This episode makes me think of Bobby Cannavale’s guest role on Master of None, where he played... a celebrity with a history of sexually harassing women who worked for him. It’s an interesting type for an actor to play into...

No way the show is gutsy enough to kill off a main character. Unless someone desperately wants out of their contract, which I guess I could see from Jesse Tyler Ferguson...

I actually really liked Connor, but I can see why people might not share that opinion if they didn’t do the Homestead missions. I didn’t like a lot of things about ACIII but I enjoyed building the homestead a lot more than I expected to.

MacDonald is hilarious, but I would never want to work with him.
