Hahah, well done!

It's worth noting here that Howard is a MASSIVE coward where people are concerned. Chevy Chase, Rosie O'Donnell, The Dixie Chicks to name a few people he went after and, when confronted, changed his tune. I've listened to the show for nearly twenty years now and that's how he operates. He stated he hated Don Imus, yet

As a Yank, I thank you and owe you a pint of your favorite beer. If you are an Arsenal supporter, two pints. If you support the Spurs, we never spoke.

Brilliant.

Thanks for the insight. I like the sound of Top Gear (US) presenting a balance to Top Gear (UK)'s obsession with the supercar. Don't get me wrong, I love the Ferrari engine note but there are times I'd like to be shown cars I can afford.

Has it been good? I bailed on the US variant some time ago. It may be time to give it another shot.

I bet Top Gear (US) would love to have this problem.

Lifehacker is not reporting the news. Only news outlets report the news. Until blogs have the protection of, say, "shield laws," they will simply remain loose forms of participatory journalism: not held to the same standards as news outlets.

If Lifehacker were an actual news outlet, they would have indeed had to verify the story with at least two sources and done that whole due diligence thing. But since this is a blog, they don't have to "report" anything. And they can get it wrong as many times as they like.

You're thinking! But honestly, you're probably better off getting an on-board computer to do the driving. Let me tell you as someone who has been training as a driver and a co-driver, there's not that big of a difference between a driver and a box of silicon and plastic bits.

It's all sour grapes.

I agree. The "start over" penalty should have been inherent to an "Insane" difficulty setting.

There's an odd contrast in themes in the above (maybe I'm the only one picking up on this). We're being told not to be annoying to staff, which I understand, having been in the service industry for a few years in college. Out of the other side of the author's mouth, we're being to told to be manipulative with the same

My "Connor's Day" Blipshift t-shirt will be a reminder that life is short and should be spent doing what is enjoyed. Thank you, Connor.

All he did was point to the scoreboard.

The Big Dog is probably going to be a weapons platform as well. I do agree with you that a pack mule does much of what this robot can do, for much less the expense (government mark-up on the Big Dog will be astronomical), but a mule can't fire its own 50 cal or mortars.

Agreed. Excellent idea!

My girlfriend and I ran into this last night. You had five kids and three adults. The adults were mostly disengaged from the children, so said kids were spilling things, rolling around on the floor under the table, getting into the aisles and colliding with wait staff, and making a great deal of noise.

All these guys trying to be Howard Stern.

A single raccoon shut down a construction site my dad was supervising for a construction firm for an hour or so. All the workers hid in the construction trailer to my dad's anger. They told him to deal with the raccoon so he attempted to do so with a trash can lid and a piece of conduit.
