I’m a tireless defender of this movie. I admit it had many, MANY flaws. But I can forgive a lot if the actors are giving their all, and Routh clearly was. He deserved a better movie around him. Langella as Perry White was great too.

I feel like Mary Elizabeth Winstead should be a bigger star than she is. I hope she nails this. I also hope they bring in someone and give her a serious unique fighting style.

I’m certain this has to do with Disney and Netflix getting these shows out so whatever contract they had can be complete. Disney has their own Streaming service coming online, plus they are probably about to restructure all things Marvel (In wake of the Fox deal), so this is probably going to end the Marvel Netflix…
