Honestly I haven't seen the film since it came out in… what, 2014? But I think her picture was later seen when they go to visit Hugh, something like that.

The problem here is you're confusing 'is responsible for' with 'is influenced by.' The first is debateable; the second is obviously true.

There's a pretty obvious influence by South Park on the alt right; it's clear to the point it should be uncontroversial. Whether one is responsible or not is a thornier subject but the relationship is a lot more solid than your analogy.

And?

If you've watched a lot of Star Trek, Stargate pretty much feels right at home. If you also find Star Trek stupid though it's probably not going to win you over.

The YouTube channel has put up - for a limited time - the pilot of the original TV show, which suggests some cashing in on that familiarity, but who knows.

They even did an X-Files type small town episode with a sinister secret in season six.

Hand-held to me mostly feels like it calls attention to the camera - who's shooting that outer space footage in Battlestar Galactica, for example? (Obviously, nobody, but the way the camera jerks around makes you think there is.)

Nothing can compare to expectation, of course, even if it would have been that good.

It's a bit of a bait and switch, too - for most of the series people like Scorpius just say they want wormholes (he uses the example of appearing at a planet ahead of time) not a wormhole weapon.

I don't think much of Blake's 7 - it's uneven on an episode by episode basis - but the series finale is fantastic, and one of the all time best.

Generally the 'main' aliens looked better than the guest aliens - this is especially true for the muppets, where Rygel and Pilot were as good as or frankly better than Yoda any day of the week, but the same could not be said for a lot of the one-off puppets.

It is literally just a couple of minutes, so don't feel that bad!

That was season one. He was kind of a father figure to Beka Valentine, the XO. A scummy kind, but she had a working the dregs of the universe kind of past.

Gratuituous Lexx note Spoilers for both shows, but you know.
Both Lexx and Farscape reach Earth in their final, fourth season. It's the setting for the former show, actually; with the titular ship spending the whole season in orbit. While Crichton saves Earth at the price of losing it Lexx's Earth is, of course,

This is one of only two bits Abed's Farscape scene in Community wrung false to me. (Otherwise it was so good it convinced me to watch the show.)

I'm a bit of a season two person, honestly. Besides the dip early on it's a consistently strong season with some of the show's best episodes, it has Zhaan, and the end of season arc is one of its nuttiest capers (though "We're So Screwed" is right up there.)

The same applies for Australia. I was just talking online about the films of George Miller, and offhand have identified three with actors with key Farscape roles - in two of the Mad Max movies there's Virgina Hey in the Road Warrior, Melissa Jaffer in Fury Road and also there's Paul Goddard in Babe.

Which is also when the Farscape reviews started.

It's influenced by the Japanese market, where anime Blu-Rays are extremely expensive in part because anime fans there are willing to pay that kind of money.
