There are a LOT of reactors on paper that might work well on board a cargo ship. Westinghouse just announced a reactor that is basically the size of a Generac house generator.

USE CLIMATE CONTROL AND NEVER TOUCH A SCREEN OR KNOB YOU FUCKING CAVEMAN

Let’s be honest. Cameras could be set up clearly, in a socially equitable manner, and signposted a dozen times with giant flashing lights leading to them, and inattentive morons would still speed through them and get indignant at the city. Hint: the issue isn’t the cameras.

How about don’t speed? How goddamn difficult is that? I get that sometimes they can be installed in purposely unfair ways such as at the bottom of a hill without signage etc. But if there isn’t any factor like that then there isn’t a problem, nobody, not other drivers, not the council, should ever do anything to help

Or you could just learn to drive properly.

30 km/h zones in Canada are school zones. It’s not that hard to go 30 for like two blocks to make sure you don’t kill kids crossing the street.

Show us where the bad VW touched you.

edit “what an unfortunate-looking vehicle. “

I love the style of the Vega so much, and the wagon by a factor. I mean it’s practically a cliche, 2 door wagon with the front end of a 71 Camaro. What’s not to love?

and here we have a prime example of what happens when you huff to much exhaust fumes

As a former Mini owner...that joke is really tired at this point.

I went out to eat twice — once outdoors, once inside at a place with lots of space between tables.

You literally began your tirade here with “What about...”, and then went on as if worrying about racist arrests was mutually exclusive with worrying about other injustices. How is that not a false dichotomy?

If you could eliminate several hundred pounds of weight by removing airbags and cutting out some of the steel safety structure, you would also improve performance and mileage. Go do that. Heck, even ditch the leather seats for lighter cloth or get rid of that third row for your fictitious Mormon size family.

Oh wow cool I’ve been to the Electric City and the Granite Capital of the World.

The only thing I got from reading Ayn Rand was high blood pressure, and a tension migraine. Well, and a big dent in the drywall from how hard I hurled the book at it in disgust.

You read a bit of Ayn Rand and now think you see the world clearer than a man that has decades of experience running a car dealership? What next, Catcher in the Rye?

The main reason you don’t see wood anything in production cars is it’s not dimensionally stable. That means your wood pieces don’t fit the same from day to day. That’s fine if you’re hand-assembling each car but it’s not a good fit for automated assembly.

You think an airhead like that speaks a second language?

I mean, “Luft” is literally the German word for “Air,” I’m not sure what you’re getting at by making that comparison.

The only reason we’ve got so many roofs (rooves?) flying off is because we’re reporting on them. I told people to slow down on the reporting, and this problem with rooves flying off will just disappear, like a miracle.
