If Street Fighter was made today they probably would plan it as the kickoff to a giant Street Fighter film franchise with a Street Fighter trilogy along with standalone films/trilogies for Guile, Ken & Ryu, Chun-Li, E. Honda—origin films for M. Bison and Blanka, leading into an additional Super Street Fighter Turbo

I really thought there was a note of finality with A Moon Shaped Pool, to where I thought either they were breaking up, or were going to take a very long break until the next album. But as the article points out they seem to have found their second wind; maybe doing all the stuff for OK Computer’s 20th Anniversary

That’s a nice switch. When talking to people who don’t really follow comedy, I often find that Doug Stanhope himself is “the best comedian you’ve never heard of”.

Some say the Squirtle Squad goes too far. I say the Squirtle Squad doesn’t go far enough!

Because we don’t need- and didn’t have prior to 2003- a separate internal law enforcement group whose only purpose is to use draconian techniques to hunt down people who are breaking one type of law.

I started watching them after I heard that they published the Dream Daddy game, which didn’t really chime at all with my perception of them.

It’s basically hanging out with your friends while they play videogames and you all make dumb comments, in serialized video form. I used to do that with my friends all the time, so it hardly seems weird to me, and I’m not really a youth, in the sense that I’m 40.

Mine is, I kid you not, Bones Butts.

This, plus everything I see of them they really seem like genuine nice, positive people, which is a nice change of pace from the seething cynics that the genre seems to proliferate.

I honestly don’t like a lot of the gaming Youtubers, but Game Grumps are pretty consistently funny. It helps that they actually have improv training.

Danny’s such a cool positive dude. I want a Sexbang/Andrew WK collaboration.

For those wondering, Finn is a big fan on game grumps, and has guested on the show.

Agreed completely. I want *some* kind of closure with the “real” characters. I feel like it’s turning into one long version of the same problem that hit the Simpsons around season 9 - forgetting that the audience has begun to care about the characters as actual people, and not just as joke machines. I love the joke

I believe you meant to say he’s putting his Childish Gambino persona “in carbonite”.

It’ll pass.

“This summer, the Pooh hits the fan!”

Quick, go read some YouTube comments and you’ll be back to normal in no time.

If you are going to read my comment please read to the end because I’m not going to sugar coat this. I hated Total Biscuit. I hated his guts. I hated his holier than thou attitude, his pretentious demeanor, his talking down to game developers, his dismissal of 30fps games as a whole, his shitty tweets and his voice

I love A View to a Kill! Not a good Bond movie, but a GREAT 80s movie.
