Agreed. I backpacked through Europe last year and they were a godsend in many places. Scooters allow you to hit many more sites in a day than public transit and they’re much cheaper than cabs. Right, I don’t see how the copyright holder would have any right to seize the vehicle. I can see having him take down the videos, but not seeing how it would result in the car being seized (couldn’t he take the parts and use it in another project?)

I remember when Lifehacker would teach the audience how to set up a Linux-based media server on an old laptop or something. Stuff that required actual work and thinking and left you with a sense of minor accomplishment. Those days are long gone.

I think the harassment is the thing they are talking about specifically. Being harassed can effect how people play games. I’m not sure how that’s hard to comprehend. Of course this mostly pertains to competitive gaming with randoms, not organised play.

I’m with you, though I see the benefit and use of well run, thoughtfully programed zoos. Regardless of the future of zoos, this is another deeply unsettling effect of this horrendous year no matter how it resolves.
