I’m beginning to believe that the republicans have set him up to be impeached. I think they’re playing him to get Pence in place as president. I never thought that would be the lesser of two evils but compared to the megalomaniac Trump, Pence may be the best we’ve got.

I cannot believe he didn’t see this coming. He really thought Trump would behave if he were elected? One thing I’ll say for Trump - he never pretended to be something other he was. The buyer’s remorse surprises me more than Trump’s behavior.

I agree that he has been far from perfect, but he’s still one of the best presidents we’ve had in the mid to late twentieth century. Take that for what it is. If he hadn’t met such enormous resistance from the right, he would be one of the all-time greats.

So, if we’re able to avoid an all out civil war in this country, it’s going to take about 4 or 5 Obama-caliber presidents to undo the unholy mess we’re in now. I fear it’s going to get so, so bad in the very near future.
