It really sounds like you’re argument is that we should, as a society, be deeply concerned about the hurt feelings of white men. Given the context, that’s not only a stupid argument but a really offensive one.

I first read the HP books as an adult yet somehow didn’t realize butterbeer wasn’t a real thing until my friend mentioned it. I just assumed it was some weird British drink like a shandy. I feel vindicated now that it actually is a real thing.

My grandmother had a breadwarmer exactly like this when I was growing up. It was used at all holiday meals to keep our dinner rolls warm. Who knew I would feel so nostalgic towards a pretty much useless kitchen gadget?

I was always so grateful for parents that picked up after their kids because sooo many parents just don’t think it’s necessary. I had MULTIPLE people leave their kid’s dirty diapers on the fucking table! That is SO not okay.

This is actually a real fear of mine. I had a nightmare about someone stealing my dog and selling him to someone else and I haven’t been able to shake it. So thanks for making my nightmare a reality!

This is off topic, but I have a friend that calls R’hllor “rolly polly” because neither of us are certain about pronunciation.
