For things that need to go on every trip and don’t expire, I have a pre-packed travel bag. First aid kit, certain cosmetics, toothpaste, toothbrush (replaced each trip), duplicate grooming items (e.g. hair ties, hair brush), feminine hygiene products, sample sizes of shampoo, lotion, perfume, sunscreen, etc. That way

If you’re flying, & your destination is first-world (= Walgreens every 50 feet), it can really be easier to just plan on buying things when you get there— lugging liquids/gels/etc around is such a hassle with TSA. Only pack the things you either can’t operate without, or can’t get at Walgreens.

I’ve certainly made some mistakes that could be detrimental and I definitely went straight to the boss about them and claimed responsibility and, if possible, fixed the problem. Since then, I’ve always told those that work for me to simply tell me immediately if they screw up something big so we can work to fix it

Deaf,

Yet another reason to get a four-wheeled “spinner” suitcase instead. I finally got one of these a couple of years back and it was life altering!

As in our own system, rich people in the U.K. can afford “every treatment under the sun” to prolong their lives, but poor people get better care in the U.K. than in the U.S..

Keeping profit in healthcare is one of this world’s great evils.
