Tammy Duckworth is a total non-starter. She’s terrible on TV, has no charisma, and is basically a younger, military veteran version of Hillary.

Except in this case, the Old/Experienced have already shown us what they can do, and they’ve been found wanting. So, at the very least, it’s exciting to think about how the new blood can and will affect change that the current establishment seems unable or unwilling to tackle.

Democrats took the House in spite of Pelosi. The Congressional Progressive Caucus should choose the next Speaker.

As of this writing, all the potential 2020 Dem candidates are seriously flawed. All of them. Every one. They’re going to have time to work through those flaws, but they better get cracking, because if I had to go put down odds on who wins in 2020 right now, I sadly would go with the incumbent.

Oh, I saw a great excuse yesterday: someone on Twitter saying her sister-in-law couldn’t vote because she’s a Muslim and her polling place was a church.

It’s still not enough. 48.1 percent is pitiful when you consider that if it were just 58.1 percent we’d probably have made it so every Republican would be hoisted upon their on petard and blown to hell and back. And if it was around 70-80 percent, we could have caused pResident Evil to shit his depends.

But why go out of your way to reassure those voters that their reasoning wasn’t racist?

The first thing House Democrats need to do is not elect Pelosi as Speaker. Her brand of politics is dated and tired and the current generation of voters want nothing to do with her.

Get rid of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Tom Perez.
