I read your comment and immediately had to decide whether to listen to Emotions by Mariah Carey or Emotion by Destiny’s Child.  I now see that the DC version was written by the Bee Gees.

I was in charge of the mashed potatoes at my house.  Potatoes, salt, cream, butter, vegetable bouilloune cube (weireded people out, but they liked it).  We don’t have a masher, so I just washed off my little tube of paprika and used that, and I was very much surprised by how many people thought that was uncivilized.

Movie accents: I find it amusing when a famous cast are expected to adopt a different accent. Are they all cast, and then show up on Day 1 for a read-through, and everyone gets to hear the different accents they had been working on? That would surely add an interesting dynamic to the shoot.
