Is Aunt May really supposed to be Peter Parker’s great aunt?  In the comics, and earlier films, she looks two generations older than him, not one.  When Tomei debuted as Aunt May, she was 52, which is perfect to be “mom age” of a high school boy, maybe even a little old to be honest.
